Youth Programs
Office is located in the Religious Life Center.
We serve in churches in middle Georgia and throughout the state. Our summer camps, Passport, do mission projects with non-profit organizations in Bibb County.
Vision Statement
- We exist to support Student Development as students discover God given talents and use them in service and ministry.
- We desire to support churches of all denominations by offering the talents of students and the facilities of Mercer to strengthen their ministries to youth.
- We want to put growing Christian young adults in front of prospective college students to serve a role models and as examples of the Mercer student body and the education that is available on this outstanding campus.
Facts About Mercer's Youth Programs
- Began in the summer of 2007
- In the summer of 2009, Mercer will host two PASSPORTkidscamps and six Passport Youth Missions camps. These camps will bring over 1500 children and youth to campus for worship, fun and missions experiences.
- Mercer Youth Day, for grades 7 through 12, is planned forJanuary 30, 2010. This youth event will feature a time of praise and worship, a campus tour, inflatables, lunch and the men's basketball game between the Mercer Bears and Stetson University. And best of all, there is no charge for your youth group to attend.
- Youth Ministry Teams are available to come to your church on Wednesday evenings, on Sundays or for discipleship retreats and special events. These teams are comprised of students who lead worship, sharethrough skits and drama and also give their testimonies. There is nocharge for these teams to come your way. We are just thankful for theopportunity to be with your church youth group.
